YDI Pinellas

YDI Pinellas YDI (http://pinellasydi.org) is an inter-generational mentoring program emphasizing educational and leadership development.

Program we offer:

• Workshops
(Ages - 11-18, grades 6-12)
Covering such topics as leadership, academic success, anger management, self-esteem, cultural awareness, goal setting, etiquette skills, dress for success and other pertinent topics for today's youth to become positive and productive citizens in this global society.

• Parent Seminars
Parent seminars are focused on their critical roles in

their children's academic success, and ways to support their learning.

• Tutoring
Is provided by ALS that have certified tutors in all content subjects. The tutors also cover study skills and preparation for taking the ACT and SAT. Tutoring is M, T and Th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

• College Tours
All youth will have the opportunity to visit a university in the southeastern region to experience college life. This will help inspire them to reach their fullest potential and performance successfully in school.

• Cultural and Leadership Field-trips

• Summer Program: Creative Academic Enrichment infused with Technology
This summer module is geared for middle school students. The students will be exposed to hands on creative academic enrichment through the use of technological aids.
