💙 June is National Reunification Month

This month, we celebrate the families who have overcome challenges and reunited with their children, as well as the foster parents, caregivers, and professionals who help make those reunifications possible.

At Camelot Community Care, we believe every child deserves a safe, loving, and stable family. Together, we are helping build brighter futures, one family at a time.

✈️💙 Where Travel Industry Leaders and Community Impact Meet

Travel advisors and industry partners gathered on May 17th for the annual ASTA South Florida “Robert L. Duglin” Spring Affair, bringing together travel professionals for education, networking, and collaboration across the travel industry.

In addition to supporting one another professionally, attendees also came together to support children in foster care served by Camelot Community Care through a special hygiene item and gift card collection. Their generosity will help provide essential everyday items that bring comfort, dignity, and care to children and families in need.

A special thank you to Special Needs Group for coordinating this meaningful annual collaboration and for continuing to make a difference for the children and families we serve. 💙

💚 Thankful for our Community Partners Helping Create Brighter Futures!

A special thank you to Broward Center for the Performing Arts for providing 50 of our children, youth, and families with the opportunity to attend the Broadway musical 'Freaky Friday'. Experiences like these create lasting memories and open doors to the arts for the families we serve.

We also want to recognize Soraya Cares for their continued generosity and compassion through donations of comfort items for children and youth in our care throughout the year. Your kindness brings smiles, encouragement, and comfort to so many.

Thank you both for partnering with Camelot Community Care and helping make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community.

Today is National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day. 💚

1 in 5 children experience a mental health disorder each year, reminding us how important it is to ensure every child feels safe, supported, heard, and valued.

At Camelot Community Care, we remain committed to helping children and families build hope, resilience, and brighter futures.

Because every child deserves a safe place to heal, grow, and thrive.

🌟 Independent Living Youth Participate in Spring Break Leadership Retreat

Here at Camelot Community Care, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to build confidence, develop life skills, and prepare for a successful future.

During Spring Break 2026, youth in our Independent Living Program traveled to Tampa for the Boss of My Life – Emerging Leaders’ Summit, featuring the Clarity in Action – Youth Leadership Experience.

From creating budgets and setting goals to exploring leadership, housing choices, and financial decision-making, participants gained practical tools to help build independent and successful futures. Throughout the retreat, youth also explored leadership through the “Three Cs” — Courage, Communication, and Clarity — while learning how personal growth connects to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and the journey toward reaching their full potential.

A special thank you to The CALL Project and our local community leaders who joined us for the Emerging Leaders Forum, sharing insight, encouragement, and inspiration with the next generation of leaders.

The retreat also included hands-on experiences and moments of connection, including a visit to The Inspiration Co. where participants created custom inspiration bracelets, as well as a group lunch at Red Robin where youth had the opportunity to relax, connect, and continue building friendships together.

These are the experiences that help youth build confidence, discover their potential, and realize they are capable of leading their own future. ❤️

💚 Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week | May 3–9

Every child carries a story—and not all of them are visible.

At Camelot Community Care, we see the impact that mental health has on the children and families we serve every day. Trauma, anxiety, and uncertainty are affecting more children every day—and support is critical.

This week, take a moment to listen, care, and advocate. Because when we care for a child’s mental health, we change their future.
