Clearwater Fire Department Emergency Services Response area is all of Ninnescah Township in Sedgwick County and parts of Illinois Township in Sumner County.

Clearwater Fire Department is a volunteer department that houses 2 Brush Trucks, 2 Engines, 2 Tenders, 1 Boat, a Chief Command Vehicle, and 1 ALS medical response vehicle. The department is also part of the Sedgwick and Sumner County Wildland Task Forces that deploy to surrounding counties when mutual-aid requests are made.

Our department's annual drivers certification training program commences today, consisting of multiple training sessions for all members. As a prerequisite, each member must complete the initial training and obtain clearance before they are authorized to drive fire apparatus. Additionally, all drivers will be required to undergo annual recertification and check-offs.

Clearwater Fire Department will participate in a joint training exercise tonight at 6:30pm with Sedgwick County Fire in the 200 block of N Tomahawk Drive. This is a scheduled training event and there is no emergency.
