We’re excited to share that we’ve added a Perry Weather station to our Clearwater campus! 🌦️⚡

This new technology takes campus safety to the next level by providing 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. It will let our team know when action is needed for conditions such as lightning, heat index, and other weather-related concerns, allowing us to make faster, more informed decisions to keep our students and staff safe.

And there’s an added bonus: our students will also be able to use the weather station for some very cool 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, exploring real data collected right here on our own campus. See less

We had so much fun sharing the wonderful world of STEAM at the Great Explorations Children's Museum IGNITE Science Festival this weekend! 🚀🤖

Our FLL Robotics Team set up LEGO ecosystems, while festival-goers also got hands-on with straw rockets, galaxy pinwheels, and constellation finders. From engineering and science to art and imagination, creativity was shining all around! ✨

We loved getting to share our passion for STEAM with the community and inspiring young minds to explore, create, and discover! ❤️🐯

What a great first week of school! 🎉📚

It has been wonderful seeing our students back on campus, filling the classrooms and hallways with so much energy and excitement. We are so proud of how everyone has settled into their routines and kicked off the new school year.

Our teachers and staff are officially back! 🎉

Today, team members from both DAS campuses came together to kick off the 2026–2027 school year with breakfast, fellowship, and plenty of excitement for the year ahead.

It was wonderful to reconnect, welcome new faces, and begin preparing for another year of learning, growth, and memorable experiences for our students. We are grateful for the dedicated educators and staff members who make DAS such a special place.

The energy is high, the classrooms are getting ready, and we cannot wait to welcome our students back soon! 🐯❤️💙
