🎉 Great news! We're back up and running!

Our OPR & Real Property Records Office at the Historic Courthouse is back open, and our recording software is once again functioning at 100%.

Our Burleson Sub-Courthouse is also able to process Assumed Name (DBA) filings again.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we worked to resolve the software issue. We appreciate you! 💙

🚨ATTENTION🚨
Due to a major issue with our Cloud Records software that is affecting our ability to process over-the-counter recordings, we have temporarily closed our OPR & Real Property Recording Office at the Historic Courthouse.

At this time, we are also unable to process Assumed Name (DBA) filings at the Burleson Sub-Courthouse.

We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and will provide an update when services are restored.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience!

Introducing The Clerk's Collection

The Johnson County Clerk's Office is proud to launch The Clerk's Collection, a new section of our website dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of our office and the records that tell Johnson County's story.

Our first featured artifact is an original 1905 Johnson County marriage license, recently rediscovered while organizing historical records.

We'll continue adding new collections, historical records, and artifacts, so be sure to check back often!
