19:06 Severe Warning Canceled - Update in comments

NWS included JoCo in part of the Severe Thunderstorm Warning, though it looks like a more easterly track as it strengthened keeping most of the wind in Tarrant Co.

It was issued for winds up to 60mph in the storm. We are watching it but I am not overly concerned. But worth us watching.

Sorry for being so quite, I’m on a Sunday deadline for a required class and it’s a ton of work so I’ve not been updating much.

Some nice storms out west/northwest. Eventually they will get over this way but I’m not sure what they will look like when they do. Weaker than they are now I suspect.

Anyway, I’ll keep my eye out later and hopefully someone gets a touch of this rain!

Expect a ridiculous windy day tomorrow!

Good Morning, JoCo!

Some asked me to send cooler weather and rain from Alaska. You are welcome, do I get a prize?

We are rain free and mid 80’s all week. Enjoy first fall!

Thank you to Corrie and staff for getting updates posted and things addressed. For the first time ever in my career I didn’t look at work the entire time I was gone. Kinda regretting that today seeing everything on my plate now, but it was a good trip as you can see!

Have a great day!

Update: 8:05a I just placed a new radar view in the comments. Gives a good idea of just how slow this line is moving, my first post was around 5am for reference. Heaviest rain is still staying to our south.

Day 2 of this rain event is getting started this morning for JoCo, nothing severe. The main concern will be flooding.
Drive carefully.
