POST CORRECTION:
At the request of the County Attorney, in reference to our post regarding Bonnie Thomas, the County Attorney never received or rejected an assault charge; rather, the County Attorney received a Resisting Arrest charge, which the County Attorney rejected. The County Attorney stated he had rejected the charge due to Ms. Thomas having her probation revoked in an unrelated case.
