Friends, Neighbors, and Fellow Residents of Johnson County, Texas — I’m honored to announce my campaign for Re-Election to continue to serve as your County Commissioner of Precinct 4!
I have resided in this county since 1982 and have seen tremendous population growth in the recent years. As your Commissioner, this growth is closely managed and structured to provide future generations a county that continues to be a great place to live, work and raise a family.
Over my 11 years of service, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside so many of you to maintain our roads and bridges, steward our budget wisely, support our first-responders, and preserve the quality of life we all treasure. As your Commissioner, I’ve been proud to serve on the Johnson County Commissioners Court, helping set policy, oversee infrastructure, and advocate for our county.

Wow, I have had a great week presiding over the North & East Texas Judges & Commissioners Association annual conference. This has definitely been a highlight of my career in county government. We received numerous compliments on our speakers, education offerings and networking opportunities. The exhibit hall was sold out early and the sponsorships were at a record high amount. Thank you to all that made it happen; especially my great officer team and conference staff team and to all attendees.

I love to showcase our youth programs in Pct.4 whether it's 4H, FFA or Athletic Teams. Today we declared this date as Grandview Lady Zebra Softball Day with a Commissioners Court Proclamation clebrating their State Championship. Superintendent Kirby Basham and Coach Tim Ward were on hand for the presentation.

Had a great turnout and a great response on my Biosolids/PFAS presentation at the West Texas County Judges & Commissioners Association of Texas annual conference. This makes about 10 of these that I have conducted across the state in order to educate as many elected officials as possible.
