Today, members of Clementon Fire Rescue had the honor of attending this morning’s Memorial Day services as we joined our community in remembering and honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten. We are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside our veterans, families, and community members in remembrance today.

From all of us at Clementon Fire Rescue, thank you to those who gave everything for our freedom. 🇺🇸

🔥 SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT – AKA “PLEASE DON’T START A FIRE TODAY” 🔥

The National Weather Service says we’ve got an elevated fire risk until 7 PM… and they’re not kidding.

🔥 What’s going on:
• Humidity dropping to 25–30% (aka dryyyy)
• Temps in the 80s
• Winds 15–20 mph, gusting to 30 mph

⚠️ Translation: if something catches, it’s going to run with it.

🚫 Let’s make good choices today:
• No outdoor burning
• Cigarette butts belong OUT and DONE, not flicked
• Be careful with anything that sparks (yes, even your lawn mower)

Conditions get better later tonight, but for now… let’s not make the fire department famous today 🚒

🔥 Happy Tuesday, everyone! 🔥

If you see smoke rolling out of the firehouse tonight… relax, it’s not an emergency and nobody forgot how to cook dinner. 😏

We’ll be conducting training evaluations this evening and using smoke machines throughout the building. You may notice smoke coming from the bay doors or other doors during the exercise.

No need to be alarmed — just your Clementon Fire Rescue putting in the work to stay sharp and ready when it counts. 🚒💨

🚨❤️ CLEMENTON… WE’RE TURNING THE TOWN RED ❤️🚨

We’re proud to take part in Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters — and we want YOU to join us.

From April 26 – May 3, we’re asking our community to turn Clementon RED in honor of the brave firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice.

🔥 Light your house
🔥 String up red lights
🔥 Drop a red bulb in your porch light
🔥 Light up your business
🔥 Snap a photo and show us WHY this matters to you

Whether it’s for a loved one, a hero, or just to show support — we want to see it all.

📸 Post your photos in the comments or tag us so we can share!

Let’s flood the feed with red and remind everyone what this job really means ❤️

👇 AND don’t forget to use our hashtag so we can find your posts:

🚨 HYDRANT REMINDER 🚨

We get it. The snow is brutal. The plows keep undoing your hard work. We’re sorry 😬

But remember — your local firefighters are volunteers.
We’re shoveling our own homes… then grabbing our gear and coming to help you.

Clearing the hydrant near your house now means faster water, faster response, and safer operations for everyone.

Thanks for having our backs like we have yours 🚒💙

🚨 Public Notice: Verizon Wireless Service Outage 🚨

We are aware of a widespread Verizon Wireless outage that may be impacting voice calls, text messaging, and mobile data for some customers. If you are affected you may see "No Service" or "SOS" displayed where you would normally see signal strength (typically the top right corner of your phone's display). Verizon has acknowledged the issue and reports crews are working to restore service.

If you have an emergency and need help:

Try calling 9-1-1 first. If the call fails:
▶️ Use a landline, or a cell phone on a different carrier if available.
▶️ If you have Wi-Fi and your phone supports it, try turning on Wi-Fi Calling and attempt the call again.

Text-to-9-1-1 is available in Camden County. Text “911” with:
▶️ Your exact location (address and town)
▶️ The type of emergency
▶️ Then stay in the message thread and answer follow-up questions.

❗ Important: If Verizon texting is also down in your area, texting may not go through, so please use a landline or another carrier if you can. ❗

🚨If you still cannot connect, and it is safe to do so, go to the nearest police/fire/EMS facility or ask a nearby resident/business to call for you.🚨

Please continue to monitor official updates from Verizon as service is restored. You can check Verizon Wireless Network Status here: https://www.verizon.com/support/check-network-status/
