We welcome you and your comments on the Village of Clemmons’ page. The purpose of this site is to provide information about Village of Clemmons services and programs as well as other information that is of public interest to residents, businesses and visitors. Please note that this is a moderat

ed online discussion site and not a public forum. All content posted to the Village of Clemmons’ social media site by the public must be related to discussion of Village sponsored programs, services, projects, issues, events and activities. The Village reserves the right to delete submissions that:
• contain vulgar language, personal attacks of any kind, or offensive comments that target or disparage any ethnic, racial, or religious group
• that are spam or include unrelated links to other sites
• are not topically related to City sponsored programs, services, projects, issues, events and activities, or the particular post being commented upon
• advocate illegal activity
• promote particular services, products, or political organizations
• infringe on copyrights or trademarks
• violate any local, state, or federal laws and/or is otherwise unlawful

This comment policy is subject to amendment or modification at any time. Multiple violations of the Social Media Comment Policy may result in the offending user being banned from use of Village social media sites at any time and without prior notice. While the Village of Clemmons understands that social media is a 24 hour-a-day, 7 days-a-week medium, the monitoring capability of the Village’s staff is not. The Village therefore asks that no requests for emergency service or immediate response be made through social media. Council Meeting Recap. Village Council met on August 24 and addressed several key items. Some of these included:

🌟Heard from Mayor Rogers that the state budget included a $62,500 grant for the Village of Clemmons to program events at the upcoming amphitheater and $62,500 for the Shallow Ford Foundation for community improvements. Thank you Senator Dana Caudill Jones for your work for the Village.

🔥A presentation from Kyle Haney, Deputy Forsyth County Manager regarding changes to the fire taxing districts the County has implemented.

🏡Approved a 9 lot subdivision at the ends of Quail Forest Drive and Finch Meadow Court in the Idolwood neighborhood.

🌱Showed an update to the expansion of the Clemmons Community Garden at the former Greendale Park location. Information about these new garden plots can be reached by emailing or calling Adam Ernest at [email protected] or 336-300-1386

🚦Reviewed a contract for a Traffic Impact Analysis study to be completed for 6010 Gun Club Road.

💜We were proud to celebrate the ribbon cutting for the new Intermediate Care Medical Unit (IMU) at Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center!

This expansion means Clemmons residents and others in our community with more complex medical needs can receive a higher level of monitoring and treatment closer to home.

Congratulations to the entire Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center team on this important investment in our community and the health of our residents!

A new book is up at the Village Point Greenway Storywalk!- “Little Ghost's Summerween” by Maggie Edkins Willis

Seemed like the perfect book since we are still very much in the summer heat but the stores are already shifting into Halloween mode. And yes, we had to add in a shameless plug for our annual Village of Clemmons Monster Dash & Goblin Hop on October 18!

AND we had to take this opportunity to show some of our villagers enjoying the “Bookin’ Around the Greenway Scavenger Hunt!” 📚👀👣
