Pledge to Vote Cleveland!

What a wonderful and unexpected reunion! It was such a pleasant surprise to learn that Miss Oz is owned by a former coworker with whom I had the pleasure of working with for over 20 years at CCBDD. Reconnecting after all these years was truly a special and heartwarming moment. It's always a blessing to cross paths with familiar faces and celebrate the success of those we've had the privilege of working alongside. As well as participating in an event for Sherrod Brown for U.S Senator along with congresswoman Shontel M. Brown, and many others.

From Cleveland to Akron—What an Incredible Day of Sisterhood, Empowerment, and Purpose!
It was an honor to be in Akron supporting Congresswoman Emilia Sykes at the “We Belong Here” Day Party Brunch!

The message was powerful, inspiring, and crystal clear: WE BELONG HERE! No matter where we come from, what challenges we face, or what spaces we enter, we have earned our place, our voices deserve to be heard, and our leadership matters!

One of the most powerful conversations of the day addressed the barriers African American women continue to face in the political arena, particularly when it comes to fundraising, financial resources, and institutional support. The disparities in opportunities and financial backing compared to our white counterparts and men in politics are challenges that cannot be ignored.

The message was bigger than politics it was about unity, opportunity, representation, and lifting one another up!

We must recognize the importance of investing in one another, opening doors, creating opportunities, and ensuring that African American women pursuing public service have access to the resources and support they need.

Our communities deserve to see themselves reflected in the leadership of our cities, our state, and our nation.

When one woman rises, she creates a pathway for others to rise. When we stand together, our voices become stronger, our opportunities become greater, and our communities become better!

Thank you, Congresswoman Emilia Sykes, for creating a space for such a meaningful and necessary conversation.

WE BELONG HERE! OUR VOICES, OUR LEADERSHIP, AND OUR FUTURE MATTER!

It is always an honor and a privilege to be in a room filled with colleagues, friends, neighbors, and elected representatives, coming together in unity to celebrate one another, honor our shared accomplishments, and recognize the powerful legacy upon which we stand. Together, we continue to build on that legacy and pave the way for future generations!
