Labor Shows Up Rain Or Shine!

The labor hall was filled this morning with strong, dedicated union members who refused to let the rain stop us! We hit the streets, knocking on doors and talking with union members as we canvassed for our labor endorsed candidates along side Dr. Amy Acton candidate for Ohio Governor as we continue mobilizing, organizing, and building support for working families across Ohio.

This is what solidarity looks like—showing up, standing together, and fighting for the issues that matter most to working people.

Our Path to Power candidates, union members and their spouses running for office, know what’s at stake this election — including our freedom and right to form and join a union.

Today union members are talking to other union members about voting for Path to Power candidates like Amy Acton for Governor and a record-breaking SIX union members on the ballot in Cuyahoga County for the Ohio House: Sean Brennan, Scott DiMauro, Nicole Sigurdson, Davida Russell, Eugene Miller, and Dan Troy.

The politicians attacking collective bargaining and workers' rights aren't slowing down. Neither are we.

My mother needed a little outing, so she joined me at the Harvard Community Culture Fest in Cleveland Ward 1. ❤️ We enjoyed beautiful music, community fellowship, good energy, and even a little campaigning on the side! 😊

Although my mother is living with Alzheimer’s, I treasure every moment we share. She still loves music and dancing—and I know exactly where I get my love for both! 💃🏽🎶

Moments like these remind me that love is not measured by circumstances, but by the time we choose to spend together. Cherish your parents, embrace them, be patient with them, and love them through every season of life. They are irreplaceable, and once they’re gone, you can never get these moments back.

I’m grateful for every smile, every dance, every laugh, and every memory we can still make together. ❤️🙏🏽

Love your parents while you have them. They are truly a blessing that can never be replaced.
