The Cleveland Heights Police Academy, under the leadership of Commander Matt Lasker, is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for its 2026 Youth Police Academy.

According to Commander Lasker, "The goal of this program is to involve the younger generations in our community and help bring our police force and the youth community together. We are also hoping to gain interest in youth who may be interested in Law Enforcement as a future career."

Students ages 12 to 18 are encouraged to apply.

Well we have listed all the amazing baskets that you can bid on at the Officer Jason West Memorial Fund Mega Raffle Event tomorrow at Boss Dog Brewing. Now it is up to you. Come tomorrow, May 17 from 5 - 8pm. Raffle tickets are only $5 and you can bid on any one or more of the baskets. There is no cost to attend. It is a family friendly event, and all the money raised goes for scholarships for open enrollment cadets attending the Cleveland Heights Martin G. Lentz Police Academy.

We are overwhelmed but in a really good way! This basket just came in from Saint Ann School in Cleveland Heights. Saint Ann’s Basket. It is filled with 2 Saint Ann sweatshirts, 2 Saint Ann
