What does a career in marketing look like? Our Broadway Club teens got the chance to find out.

During a visit to MarcusThomasLLC, Club members got an inside look at the world of advertising and digital marketing. They participated in hands-on career readiness activities, learned from professionals in the field and explored some of the many career paths available in the industry.

Experiences like these help young people discover new possibilities, build skills and start imagining what their futures could look like.

A great way to start the school year: giving back to your new community! đź’™

We recently welcomed 15 incoming Case Western Reserve University students to our Broadway Club as part of their student service day. The group rolled up their sleeves to help with outdoor beautification and cleaning projects around the Club.

Along the way, they also had the opportunity to learn more about Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio, the young people we serve and the community they're now a part of.

Thank you to these CWRU students for spending part of their first days in Cleveland giving back to our Club!

Raise a stein for a great cause! 🍻🥨

Join our young professionals board, the Bridge Board, for Oktoberfest on Thursday, Oct. 15 at Hofbräuhaus Cleveland!

Enjoy an evening of German food, beer, raffles, games and Oktoberfest favorites like a pretzel toss and Hofbräuhaus’ famous Steinholding competition, all while supporting the kids and teens who count on Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio.

Even better, every $5 raised through games and raffles covers the cost of a hot meal for a Club member.

School-year programming starts Monday! 🎒

Still looking for an after-school option? Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio offers safe, fun places for kids and teens ages 6–18 to learn, grow and spend time after the school day ends. And there’s no cost to join.

Club members can enjoy everything from art and athletics to homework help, plus a free daily meal, field trips and support from caring adult mentors.

Broadway Club teens recently visited Charles Schwab’s Richfield location for a Reality Store experience focused on budgeting and financial decision-making.

With guidance from Charles Schwab volunteers, teens worked through real-life scenarios and saw firsthand how choices about education, careers and family can impact their finances.

Our Sr. Director of Clubs Derick Hillmon joined Planet Fitness to talk about tomorrow’s Judgement Free™ Fit Day at our Broadway Club.

Throughout the day, Club kids will get moving, work together and build confidence through fun fitness activities led by Planet Fitness trainers from across Northeast Ohio.

Thank you to WKYC Channel 3 - Cleveland for helping us share what’s ahead and to Planet Fitness for creating an opportunity for our kids to discover just how much fun getting active can be.

A fresh coat of paint makes a big difference! 🎨

This summer, volunteers from the American Fence Association rolled up their sleeves at our King Kennedy Club, painting multiple indoor spaces and helping give the Club a fresh new look for our young people.

In addition to volunteering their time, the American Fence Association generously covered the supplies needed for the project, with paint donated by Sherwin-Williams.

We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make King Kennedy an even brighter and more welcoming place for our Club members. Thank you, American Fence Association and Sherwin-Williams!
