You’ll get hands-on experience planting trees under the guidance of a professional arborist and our Tree Stewards. We’ll be digging, planting, mulching, and watering as we add more trees to the neighborhood.

Big news for Old Brooklyn businesses! The City of Cleveland - City Hall has awarded its fourth round of Steelyard TIF Grants, including seven Old Brooklyn businesses:

• Hearts & Hangers
• 787 Market 787 Café
• From the Lobby
• Never Say Dive
• Stranci Tattoo & Piercing Co.
• SABOR MIAMI Cafe and Gallery
• Mediahead Video Games & Movies

Since the program relaunched in 2025, $1.38 million has been awarded to 84 small businesses and six CDCs across six Cleveland neighborhoods, helping support business growth, improvements and neighborhood projects. Over $220,800 in Steelyard TIF money has gone to Old Brooklyn businesses and public spaces.

We invited Old Brooklyn to Homecoming at Constellation School, and you all did NOT disappoint. 👏 We saw varsity jackets, hoco fits and royalty, alumni gear, and everything in between, all while celebrating our amazing neighborhood.

To the residents, food vendors, small businesses, donors, sponsors, partners, and staff who made this OB Nite possible, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Because of you, we raised over $60,000 and put on one of the best nights of the year.
