In North Dakota, it's the law. Move over if you see any of these vehicles on the side of the road:

🚨 Emergency vehicles (police, fire, ambulance)
🚨 NDDOT vehicles
🚨 Tow trucks
🚨 All other motor vehicles with flashing hazard lights (e.g., a car with a flat tire)

UPDATE: 12/24/25 - Highway 30 is OPEN 4:00 PM

🚨 ⚠️ ⛔ Due to a crash on Highway 30, near MM 23, west of Streeter, the road will be closed for several hours to investigate the crash. The detour is from Highway 30 near mile marker 17.5 and is routed onto Highway 34 (mm 46 – 52) and then up 56th Avenue SE back to Highway 46 at mile marker 5. Vehicles can also take Highway 56 south of Gackle to Highway 34.
