On August 27, the Cleveland Municipal Court’s General and Housing Divisions gathered for a joint Ice Cream Social. The afternoon offered something simple but meaningful: an opportunity for colleagues who serve the same Court to know one another better and strengthen the relationships behind their shared work.

Judge Wiltshire emphasized the importance of carrying that spirit forward by continuing to create opportunities for both divisions to connect as one court community.

For Deputy Chief Magistrate Tamela Womack, the gathering was especially meaningful. Housing Division magistrates finally had the long-awaited chance to meet their General Division counterparts and begin building the personal connections that make professional collaboration possible.

Judge Cheryl Wiltshire, Court Administrator, Etoi Shaquila Young, Deputy Court Administrator/HR Director, Tanya Jones and Deputy Bailiff Supervisor, Chris Weir, were proud to be part of the City of Cleveland’s Success Fair 2026! What an amazing event, bringing together 200+ community employers and thousands of participants.
It was a wonderful opportunity for employers and potential employees to connect. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a tremendous success! 💙🙌🏽

Yesterday we said goodbye to our summer intern, Taylor Mullen on completing her internship with Cleveland Housing Court. Taylor has been a wonderful part of our team, and we’re excited to see her continue her journey through law school! 📚 We know that she’ll continue to perform exceptionally well and maybe she will consider returning to Cleveland Housing Court in the future.✨
