Work is now underway on the Panna Lane Pump Station project.
This project will replace the existing pump station structure and approximately 200 feet of existing force main sewer at Panna Lane, east of West 11th Street.

WPC spent the day at Cleveland Fire Station 26’s Ice Cream Social and the 5th District Safety Fair at Collinwood Recreation Center, turning conversations into actions that help protect Cleveland’s sewer system and our waterways.

🚧Mayfield Road & East 124th Closure 🚧

On Wednesday, July 8, 2026, Mayfield Road & East 124th will be closed for an emergency main sewer repair.

Perk Construction and WPC are completing the work, which is expected to take two weeks, weather permitting. A posted detour is in place. Drivers are asked to follow all posted detour signs and use caution in the area. !

🌡️ Due to tomorrow's extreme heat warning and a forecasted heat index near 105°, we've made the difficult decision to cancel Wade Oval Wednesdays this week.

We know this is disappointing, but it's clear that the heat simply isn't safe or enjoyable for our guests, performers, vendors, volunteers, or staff. ❤️

Thank you for understanding and for supporting free community programming in University Circle. Please stay cool, stay hydrated, and take care of one another! 💧☀️

WPC was on the move today with stops at Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland, Canalway Partners Picnic in the Park featuring the Veterans Memorial Bridge & Subway Tour, and Cleveland Fire Station 39.

We connected with residents and shared how small daily actions can help protect our homes, neighborhoods and waterways.
