Our Annual Junior Board Golf Invitational at Highland Park Golf Course was a tremendous success, and we're feeling incredibly grateful for everyone who made it happen.

A huge thank you to our Dinner Sponsor, KeyBank, and Drink Sponsor, Tempo Wealth, for helping make the day possible. We're also thankful for our Junior Board, sponsors, and golfers whose support fuels opportunities for students across our community.

Can schools prepare students for jobs that don't exist yet?

It's one of education's biggest challenges, and today's teens are thinking about it, too.
Our newest survey with Ipsos found that students are optimistic about the future, but they also want learning that prepares them for a rapidly changing world. The findings offer an important look at how students view AI, career readiness, and experiential learning.

Majority feel their schools are doing a good job of preparing them for financial success and a world changed by AI, though many still harbor concerns about how AI will impact their future job prospects.

We're beyond proud to announce that our President, Al DiFranco, has been named a finalist for the 2026 Karl Flemke Pioneer Achievement Award, a national recognition honoring outstanding first-time JA presidents.

Under Al's leadership, our organization has experienced unprecedented growth, expanding our impact to nearly 18,000 students annually while bringing Northeast Ohio's first JA Experiential Learning Center to life—a historic achievement for our region.

"We are building something special in Greater Cleveland," said Al. "I am grateful to my colleagues in the Junior Achievement family for helping us on our journey."

What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that it reflects the collective efforts of our staff, board members, volunteers, educators, partners, and this community. Together, we're helping young people build the skills, confidence, and mindset they need to succeed.

Congratulations, Al! We're grateful for your leadership and excited to see the impact continue. 👏

Ohio now requires students to complete a semester-long financial literacy course to graduate—a meaningful step toward preparing them for real-world financial decisions.

Educators, we get it. The challenge is finding the time, resources, and curriculum to do it well. That’s where Junior Achievement comes in!

Our no-cost curriculum aligns with Ohio’s financial literacy standard. It is fully designed to support teachers and equip students with the knowledge they need to move forward with confidence and stay on track for graduation. 🎓

If you’re exploring how to bring this to your classroom, connect with Wendy Mark at [email protected]
