This , we're highlighting our friends at Dollar General! Since 2021, Dollar General has partnered with Feeding America to launch a food donation program that supports our neighbors by providing rescued grocery items—from dairy and eggs to refrigerated and shelf-stable products.

Through this partnership, the Greater Cleveland Food Bank’s network of agency partners works closely with local Dollar General stores to recover food that is unsold but still in perfectly good condition, helping ensure it reaches individuals and families who need it most.

We’re grateful to Dollar General for their continued support and commitment to our community! Partnerships like these bring nourishment and support to so many—thank you for helping make a meaningful difference every day.

Last week, Giant Eagle concluded their effort for and exceeded the goal! Huge thanks to the cashiers, store leaders, and shoppers for helping us make nutritious food available to everyone in Northeast Ohio. Because of your support, more families, children, and seniors will have meals on their plates.

During the summer months, many families lose access to reliable daily meals for schoolchildren. The Greater Cleveland Food Bank aims to bridge that gap with providing free, nutritious meals for children 0-18 at various locations around Northeast Ohio! Many locations offer options for both breakfast and lunch.

This week's Sherwin-Williams “Takeover Day” was a momentous success! Nearly 100 Sherwin-Williams staff came to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to dedicate time and energy into making hot meals for seniors, packing lunches for children, and sorting food to be delivered to our partner agencies. We are so grateful for your interest in our mission!

In addition to staffing volunteer shifts all day, the Sherwin-Williams team contributed a generous $100,000 donation to allow us to provide food and essential resources so our neighbors facing hunger can thrive. We can't do this important work without the support of incredibly motivated and engaged organizations such as Sherwin-Williams.

Special thanks to Sherwin-Williams Chair, President and Chief Executive Officer Heidi Petz for being a strong leader in the fight against hunger, and serving as a co-chair for this year's Harvest for Hunger Campaign.

Greater Cleveland Food Bank 🤝 the Giant Eagle Giant Buggy! We got to see the buggy at their Rocket Arena stop today to cheer them on and thank them for supporting the fight against hunger. There is still time to this weekend at your local Giant Eagle and support your neighbors facing hunger.
