It was a pleasure to work with the City of Lakewood, Ohio, the Public Arts Advisory Committee, and the many others who contributed their time and expertise to creating this plan.

In collaboration with the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission, the City of Lakewood has completed and adopted the Public Art Master Plan. Working with local artists, residents, and stakeholders, we are excited about this document that will help us guide our future work.

Our guiding principles in this process were creating public art that is authentic, inclusive and accessible, innovative, provides placemaking, and is functional. The Cuyahoga County Planning Commission released Our Communities 2026, featuring 62 indicators across six categories: demographics, economy, housing, land use, transportation and health.

The publication includes updated data for every city, village and township in Cuyahoga County, helping local governments, community organizations and residents make informed decisions about future planning, programs and funding.

Cuyahoga County has partnered with the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission , Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority , City of Cleveland - City Hall and The Port of Cleveland to launch Cuyahoga TOD, a regional initiative focused on connecting transit, housing, businesses and jobs.

The new website brings development opportunities, planning resources and financing tools together in one place to support vibrant, walkable neighborhoods along key transit corridors.

We’re hosting another Master Plan Open House! On October 22, the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission will be present to discuss their findings and recommendations, and get some feedback from residents. This new partnership brings together County Planning, Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, the City of Cleveland, the The Port of Cleveland, and Cuyahoga County to align zoning, land use, transportation, and investment strategies across the region.
