Behind the scenes at PGH 💛

This month, our team packed approximately 2,700 diapers and 45 packages of wipes for 45 children ages 36 months and under.

Each bundle will go directly to a family in our community — helping make sure parents have one less essential expense to worry about.

And next month, we’ll do it all again.

Small packages. Practical support. A meaningful difference for families.

We’ve been a little quiet on social media, but definitely not quiet in the community.

Every day, our Community Health Workers are helping families navigate healthcare, connect to resources, and overcome language and cultural barriers.

There’s a lot happening at Partnership for Good Health, and we’re looking forward to sharing more of the people, partnerships, and everyday work behind it.

Healthy beginnings start with access to care, information, and support.

Our Community Health Workers help pregnant women overcome language and cultural barriers by connecting them with prenatal care, coordinating appointments and transportation, assisting with WIC, and providing guidance throughout pregnancy.

Among the 20 pregnant women supported:

🤰 16 have completed their pregnancies
💕 4 mothers are still expecting
👶 100% of babies born were at a healthy birth weight

We are proud to walk alongside mothers and families as they prepare for healthy deliveries and new beginnings.

Food access is an important part of good health.

Through food deliveries and SNAP assistance, our team helps families meet immediate needs while connecting them with longer-term resources.

So far, these efforts have resulted in:

🥫 82 food boxes delivered
✅ 13 SNAP applications approved
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 More than 300 community members reached

Every food box provides immediate relief. Every approved SNAP application helps a family move toward greater stability and lasting food security.

Lead exposure is more than a medical issue—it is also connected to housing, nutrition, transportation, and language access.

Our nurse and Community Health Workers help families understand lead exposure, complete recommended testing, and take practical steps to reduce risk through nutrition education, vitamin guidance, care coordination, HEPA vacuum loans, and other support.

Among the children who were retested, 100% showed a decrease in their lead levels.

Consistent education, follow-up, and support can make a meaningful difference for children and families.

🚼 Three strollers have officially checked in for duty at Partnership for Good Health.

Before they begin their next adventure, we performed the required inspection:
✅ Wheels? Check.
✅ Brakes? Check.
✅ A surprising number of Cheerios tucked into every imaginable corner? Check. 😂

After a little cleaning (and a thorough Cheerio rescue mission), these gently loved strollers are ready to help three more families get to appointments, grocery stores, parks, and wherever life takes them.

A huge thank you to the generous families who donated them. Your kindness is giving these strollers—and three local families—a wonderful new beginning. 💙

Today is World Refugee Day.

We celebrate the resilience, strength, and contributions of refugee families who enrich our communities every day.

At Partnership for Good Health, we believe that access to healthcare is a critical part of building a new life. Through healthcare navigation, language support, and connections to community resources, we help refugee and immigrant families access the care they need to thrive.

Together, we've supported more than 900 community members, coordinated over 8,500 healthcare appointments, and provided services in 7 languages across Cuyahoga County.

These numbers represent something much bigger: families finding support, building stability, and creating a sense of belonging in their new home.

This World Refugee Day, we invite you to stand with our neighbors and help build a healthier, more welcoming community for all.
