Lorain Avenue is overflowing with local gems to explore! Ohio City Inc. and the Ohio City Merchants Association present the first-ever Treasures on Lorain Ave - grab your treasure map and explore 20+ participating businesses along this vibrant corridor!

How it works: Visit 5 businesses during the weekend to earn an entry for a chance to win 1 of 2 treasure chests (raffle baskets) packed with local prizes, valued up to $600 each.

🅿️ Parking: Thank you to Urban Community School for offering free public parking for the event in their lot on the north side of Lorain at W. 48th.

Please note:
- Limit one submission per family
- Check business hours before you go - they vary by business.
- Earn an extra entry for every 5 participating businesses you visit
- Submit your treasure map by end of day Sunday, 9/13, to any participating business.

Nominations Now Open, Join the OCI Board!

Ohio City Incorporated is a resident-driven organization. Most of our Board of Trustees is elected by neighborhood residents, giving you the opportunity to vote or run for a seat.

Serving on the board allows residents to influence decisions on community development, housing, small business support, equity, public space, and more. By electing leaders who reflect the values of Ohio City, we keep our work grounded in the needs of those who live here.

• Shape the neighborhood’s future
• Connect with community stakeholders and initiatives

2026 Board Election Timeline
• Aug 14 – Nominations open
• Sept 13 – Candidate applications due
• Sept 23 – Annual Meeting: meet the candidates & the strategic plan presentation
• Oct 27 – Annual Board Election
• Nov 18– New Trustees officially seated

To run or vote, you must be a member of Ohio City Incorporated and a resident of the neighborhood. Membership is free and open to all adult residents of Ohio City.
