💛 CASSA FAMILIES — FATHERS WALK 2026! 💜

CASSA is excited to participate in Fathers Walk 2026 on Thursday, September 17!

Fathers, step-fathers, grandfathers, brothers, uncles, and other positive father figures are encouraged to walk your scholar to school and help us start the day with a strong show of family and community support. 💜💛

The Fathers Walk is about more than walking to school—it is an opportunity to remind our scholars that they are supported, encouraged, and surrounded by people who believe in their success.

💜💛 DENIM DAY REMINDER — TOMORROW 09/11/2026! 💛💜

CASSA Families, we are excited to celebrate our scholars with Denim Day! 👖✨ This is a special K–8 PBIS activity recognizing students for their great behavior and perfect attendance!

🎟️ TICKET REQUIRED: Students MUST have their Denim Day ticket to participate. Homeroom teachers distributed tickets today, so please make sure your scholar brings their ticket to school tomorrow!

👖 DENIM DAY RULES: Students may wear jeans, denim jackets, denim hats, denim accessories, and all things denim! Jeans may NOT have rips that expose skin. If jeans have rips, there must be a garment underneath that completely covers the exposed skin.

💜💛 A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OUR CASSA FAMILIES! We truly appreciate the effort families have made to get their children to school! Your commitment to attendance has not gone unnoticed!

Activities like Denim Day are our way of celebrating students who continue to demonstrate positive behavior and consistent attendance. The more our scholars show up, make positive choices, and do their best, the more opportunities we can provide for fun PBIS celebrations throughout the school year!

💜💛 1st Grade Sidewalk Chalk Recap! 🖍️☀️

Our 1st graders had a great time enjoying their Sidewalk Chalk Recess! Students had the opportunity to get outside, be creative, and add some COLOR to CASSA! 🎨✨

We love celebrating our students and giving them something special to look forward to for showing up and being ready to learn! 💜💛

Our Kindergarten scholars had such a great time during their Sidewalk Chalk Recess! 🖍️☀️

Our youngest scholars enjoyed some fresh air while using their creativity to fill the sidewalks with colorful artwork! This special PBIS activity was a fun way to celebrate our scholars and encourage positive behavior and great attendance throughout the school year.

We are excited to reward our scholars with a special Denim Dress Down Day on Friday, September 11, 2026!

This opportunity is for scholars in Grades K–8 who have demonstrated great attendance and positive behavior during the first month of school.

🎟️ QUALIFICATIONS TO PARTICIPATE:

✅ Perfect Attendance
✅ No Referrals

🚌 IMPORTANT: If your scholar has been absent due to school bussing/transportation issues, they can STILL participate! Transportation-related absences will not disqualify scholars from Denim Day.

Qualifying scholars will receive a Denim Day ticket at school. 🎟️

We are excited to celebrate our Grades 3–8 scholars with Popcorn & a Movie! 🍿🎬 This special PBIS reward will take place during the school day for scholars who have demonstrated great attendance and positive behavior.

🚌 IMPORTANT ATTENDANCE NOTE: We understand that some of our scholars have experienced absences due to school transportation/bussing issues. These transportation-related absences will NOT prevent scholars from participating. Scholars affected by bussing issues will still be eligible as long as they meet the other event qualifications.

Qualifying scholars will receive a ticket for admission to the event. 🎟️

This is a during-school event for scholars only, so families do not need to attend.

Our youngest scholars are getting ready to bring some COLOR and CREATIVITY to CASSA’s sidewalks! 🌈🖍️☀️

As part of our school-day activities, scholars in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade will have a special Sidewalk Chalk Day to enjoy with their classmates!

During their scheduled day, scholars will have the opportunity to get outside, be creative, have fun, and fill our sidewalks with colorful artwork! 🎨

⭐ Families, keep encouraging your scholars to come to school every day and on time! Regular attendance allows our scholars to participate in the fun activities and special experiences happening throughout the school year.
