Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE)’s $1.6 billion makeover is moving forward. ✈️

The next major step: a $301 million, 6,000-space parking garage that will pave the way for a new terminal at Cleveland Hopkins. The Cleveland Planning Commission has given preliminary approval to plans for the eight-level garage, which will also include a ground transportation center and a relocated RTA Red Line station. The project is expected to open in 2029, with construction anticipated to begin next year.

Once complete, the existing parking garage will be demolished to make way for the new terminal, targeted to open in 2032.

Greater Cleveland is a cultural destination.

Music and art are not just entertainment here – they are change catalysts and economic drivers. The Beachland Ballroom and Tavern in North Collinwood may be the best example of this.

Check out this latest episode of Cleveland Classics, exploring the history and passion behind Beachland Ballroom, and how it’s brought new life to the North Collinwood neighborhood.

“I was just trying to save my neighborhood,” reflects co-owner Cindy Barber. “Who knew that we would have this kind of brand name where you can go internationally and people know our name.”

You can experience Beachland in full effect this weekend as it hosts many local acts as part of the Waterloo Arts Festival on Saturday. 🎨🎭

Cleveland then and now. 🌊🏙️

From 1904 to 2026—122 years of transformation at Edgewater Park. Over the decades, this stretch of Cleveland’s Lake Erie shoreline has evolved, but it remains one of the city’s most beloved lakefront destinations.

Beyond the marquee, Playhouse Square has built a major Cleveland real estate portfolio. ✨

The Cleveland performing arts organization has built a 2.5 million-square-foot real estate portfolio spanning offices, apartments, retail, parking and the former Greyhound station.

With 19 addresses in the district, Playhouse Square says its role as a landlord helps shape the experience of residents, workers and visitors while keeping the neighborhood active beyond performances. Now, the organization is looking toward the next chapter, expanding Playhouse Square’s identity beyond the stage to include food, beverage and living.
