Movement is all around us. Even if everything and everyone here at Horizon Science Academy Denison remains perfectly motionless, movement occurs. So in the spirit of movement and
taking action, we celebrate .
This week we will feature elements of action, an occurrence, or state of being, as created by our
students and classrooms. This is not limited to sports and clubs, but also open to individual

To be the new student or teacher at your school can be intimidating, regardless of grade. Part of it is the excitement of the unknown, and another part is worrying over the unfamiliar or different.

As a Charter Public School that is open to ALL, Horizon Science Academy Denison School we would like to salute all who recently joined us. For this week, we will highlight and welcome our new students, staff, teachers, and members of the community who will help shape the course of the year.

Last Friday marked our final day of the school year, and we wrapped it up with an exciting Field Day celebration! Students enjoyed kickball, bouncy houses, face painting, balloon animals, and a cookout while spending time with their classmates and teachers one last time before summer break.
