We want to take a moment to recognize someone who has truly gone above and beyond for the Tarkington Community Library. ❤️
Ashton Dillard, thank you for believing in our little library and for helping spread the word about who we are and what we’re trying to do for our community. Because of Ashton sharing our story and advocating for us, some incredibly generous people have reached out to support our library—through book donations, monetary gifts, and simply believing in what we are building here.
A very special thank you to Reverend Eric Filmer, all the way from Georgia, who generously donated 10+ books AND $900 for our library to purchase new adult books. Your generosity will make such a difference and allow us to put many more books into the hands of our readers.
We are also incredibly thankful to Cormac Kincaid, also from Georgia, for donating 20 books to our library. Every single book added to our shelves is another story, another adventure, and another opportunity for someone in our community.
Sometimes the kindness of people—especially those miles and miles away—reminds us just how far the love of books and community can reach. 🥹📚
