At approximately 3:43 this afternoon, your Tarkington Fire crews responded to a reported structure fire with heavy smoke showing in the area of CR 2803. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the fire was caused by an air conditioning unit that had overheated. As of now, the fire has been extinguished, and all personnel are back in service.
