🎶💙 Our First Grade Musicians Are Finding Their Rhythm! 💙🎶

Mrs. Avery’s first grade musicians have been hard at work learning the difference between beat and rhythm! 🥁🎵 By the end of class, these talented young artists were even creating their own rhythms and proudly sharing them with their peers!

What a fantastic group of musicians! 🌟 We love seeing their creativity, confidence, and musical skills grow with every class.

And families… you are in for a treat! 👏🎤 We can’t wait to see these Thunderbirds take the stage at our upcoming Thunderbird Parent Night! Get ready to see all that they’ve been learning come to life! 🎶⚡️💙

🧞‍♂️✨ A Whole New World of STEM Learning! ✨🧞‍♂️

Our 3rd grade Thunderbirds brought learning to life with their Aladdin Magic Carpet Balloon Cars STEM PBL! 🚗🎈

Connecting to their CKLA reading unit on classic tales, students used ideas inspired by Aladdin to take their learning beyond the pages and into a hands-on STEM challenge. Teams designed, built, tested, and improved balloon-powered “magic carpet” cars while putting creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and engineering skills into action! 📚 ➡️ 🧠 ➡️ 🛠️

🏆 Congratulations to the groups whose magic carpet cars traveled the farthest! We loved watching our students SOAR as readers, thinkers, designers, and engineers!

💙📚🎈 When literacy and STEM come together, learning really can take you anywhere!

💙💛 What a GREAT first few weeks of school! ❤️💚

Our Thunderbirds have been busy learning, growing, building relationships, making memories, and showing us what it means to SOAR! 🦅✨

From classroom learning to council fun, new friendships, and lots of smiles, we couldn’t have asked for a better start to the school year. We are so proud of the energy, kindness, and excitement our students and staff have brought to CCCES!
