Congratulations to our Candy’s Creek Cherokee Elementary School Running Club on an amazing season and successfully completing the 5K Summer Sizzler last night in Cleveland! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💙💛❤️

We are so proud of all the hard work, dedication, and training our Thunderbirds put into preparing for this event. Several of our students even placed in their age divisions — way to go, Thunderbirds! 🎉

A huge thank you to Mrs. Burke and Miss Powers for sponsoring and leading this club throughout the season. Thank you for encouraging our students to stay healthy, active, and committed to their goals.

We can’t wait to see our runners back again next year!

What a special day celebrating our Kindergarten Thunderbirds! 💙❤️💛

Today, we sent off this amazing group of students to first grade with songs, smiles, laughter, and lots of proud moments shared with friends and family. We are so thankful for our kindergarten teachers and staff who helped make this first year at Candy’s Creek Cherokee such a memorable and successful one for this crew of Thunderbirds.

We are so proud of all they have learned, the friendships they have made, and the confidence they have gained this year. Off to first grade they go! ✏️🎉

What a special tradition at Candy’s Creek Cherokee! 💙❤️💛

On Thursday, we enjoyed the opportunity to clap out our retiring educators, Mrs. Poplin and Mrs. Gardner, along with our fifth graders on their last full day of elementary school. Thank you, Mrs. Poplin and Mrs. Gardner, for the love, dedication, and wonderful memories you have created for generations of Thunderbirds over the years. Your impact on our school family will never be forgotten.

To our fifth graders — we are so proud of you and cannot wait to see all that you accomplish in middle school and beyond. Thank you for the memories, leadership, and spirit you brought to our halls.

We love this annual tradition that began the year our school opened. There is something so special about lining the halls, cheering each other on, and celebrating new adventures together as Thunderbirds. Once a Thunderbird, always a Thunderbird!
