Yesterday evening, a vehicle was recorded traveling 91 MPH on Euclid Avenue, where the posted speed limit is 25 MPH. That’s 66 MPH over the limit.

Today is Tim Caine day ! Sgt Caine retires today after 31 years of service to our community. An absolute class act all the way around.
He was recognized with proclamations/letter by the Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt Governor Jim Tressell, the Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson, Cleveland Mayor Justin M. Bibb, Cleveland City Council and Josh Delmanzo, our Cleveland FBI SAC.

Area law enforcement leaders gathered with Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson to address recruitment challenges and ways to restore community trust.

We are putting a special attention focus on Euclid Ave for speed violations. On Monday around 7 am, an officer stopped a car for doing 72 miles an hour (almost 3 times the speed limit of 25 mph). That driver received a citation.
Please drive safely. We are paying attention.

We had a fantastic regional Police think tank on leadership today at the Centers conference room.
Special thank you to Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson who was our keynote speaker. A wonderful and inspiring presentation. He was followed by FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation Special agent in charge Josh Delmanzo and Cuyahoga County Sheriff Harry Pretel.
And the most important part was the “think tank” portion involving area leaders who discussed how we can deliver our best version of American policing ever.
Our speakers and participants represented federal, state, county, and local law enforcement.
Special thank you to the Centers for letting us use their beautiful state of the art conference room.
