LMM Staff Partner Nolan White joined Tal Behavioral Health for a one hour interview!

It is always a beautiful thing when one of LMM's own is able to share their lived experience, as well as an in depth look into the services that we offer to the Northeast Ohio community at large!

Thank you to TBH for giving Nolan and LMM this platform!

At LMM, "Excellence" is one of our core values - we believe in delivering high-quality services with integrity, accountability, and transparency.

On August 13, Maria Foschia, President & CEO, announced at an All Staff meeting the organization's "Level Up" Theme for 2026-2027. A presentation on the organization's COA re-accreditation process was followed by staff partners who work in various roles sharing their stories of the ways they are leveling up; for example, by pursuing additional credentials, attending new trainings, expanding their skills and taking initiative for quality improvement.

According to CEO Foschia, "Leveling up is about intentionally investing in ourselves so we can better serve others. When our staff partners pursue new knowledge, strengthen their skills and take initiative, it elevates our collective ability to meet our mission. I’m inspired by the passion and commitment our staff partners bring to this effort, and I’m confident that their growth will translate into an even greater impact on the people and communities we serve."

LMM congratulates Cuyahoga County, the City of Cleveland, EDEN and the YWCA on the grand opening of the newly expanded Norma Herr Center.

As a provider of shelter and housing services for youth, adults and families, we celebrate the investment and applaud this example of the community coming together to achieve dignified and respectful spaces for persons in need of shelter.

Calling all Northeast Ohio based artists, we want to work with you! 🚨🎨

We serve more than 400 guests each night at our Men's Shelter, and we are seeking artwork that promotes dignity, respect, home, and community to make the shelter more vibrant and welcoming.

Contact Volunteer Coordinator Lydia Bailey at 216-649-7723 or [email protected] to get involved, and make sure to include a brief explanation of your experience along with JPG or PNG samples!

All of the details for this particular project can be found on the slides below, and you can learn more about LMM at lutheranmetro.org.

LMM received a generous $1,000 donation from the Prucha Fund in Lorain last week!

This kind offering was through the Lorain County Rotary Club, and we could not be more thankful for their support to our Guardianship services, as well as to our various community partners pictured.

"What does it mean to be a volunteer at our Men's Shelter?" 📝 by Lydia Bailey, Volunteer Coordinator at LMM

Getting involved at our Shelter can be one of the most meaningful and life changing experiences, and Lydia took some time this month to reflect on what it is really like on the ground level of volunteering.

We promise you that it is worth the short read, and you can find the full story at the link below! 🔗

We thank 160 of our friends and supporters who enjoyed LMM's Night Out at Progressive Field!

The evening included a night in the spacious Pennant District with all you can eat food and drinks, fellowship, and the raffle of many items thanks to the Guardians, like an autographed Cade Smith baseball, a Tanner Bibee jersey, hat, 4 tickets to a future game and more! Although the final score wasn’t what we wanted, it was a terrific night of celebration of LMM and our favorite baseball team.

Today we were honored to host many elected officials on a LMM Immersive Experience, as these immersions continue to grow in popularity.

They saw first-hand the incredible work our staff partners provide everyday, while engaging in excellent dialogue as we all look to find solutions to challenges facing our community.

Cleveland Clinic and one of their Main Campus ER Nurse's, Brian Holbrook, have been such kind community partners!

Through Brian, the Clinic has provided large scale toiletry donations every other month; including a call we put out recently for toiletries when we had an immediate need. Brian quickly responded, and the Clinic came through within only 5 days time.

Brian also served lunch last week by himself (which he typically does with a team of volunteers from the ER), and we just had to highlight Mr. Holbrook and the Cleveland Clinic for the life changing work they do every day!
