Thank you to the Gideon's for generously donating 300 bibles to our Shelter!

We are distributing them throughout the dormitories, as well as adding many of the copies into our Shelter’s library where several bible studies meet on an ongoing basis.

An LMM staff partner is also keeping a few copies in her office to distribute to individuals who come to her office to talk for when she senses they might appreciate a bible.

Thank you once again to the Gideon's for such a kind offering!

LMM is kindly requesting donations of men's tennis shoes to support those we serve at our Shelter! 🚨

There are two ways you can contribute:

1. Our Amazon Wish List has an affordable tennis shoe featured at the top. These are just one suggestion. If you find a less expensive or different brand that you would prefer to donate, please feel free to do so.

2. We also accept donations at our Shelter's front desk. The entrance is at 2020 Lakeside Avenue in Cleveland, with an off-street parking lot adjacent to our front door. Donations are accepted from 8:30am-6:30pm.

Your gift helps ensure the individuals we serve have access to the everyday essentials they need with dignity and care, and either form of donating is immensely appreciated.

This level of support from the community to help refresh our shelter and its surrounding areas is an act of pure generosity that is not lost on all of us at LMM.

Thank you so much once again to all who participated, and if you weren't able to make it this time around, then we hope to see you next year!

It's National Voter Registration Week! 🗳

Election Day is just around the corner, and voters around the country are getting "vote ready" this week as part of the festivities. Rooted in our commitment to carrying out Micah 6:8's instructions to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly, we take our civic responsibility to participate in democracy very seriously, and we are committed to ensuring our neighbors have the opportunity to use their voice.

To that end, LMM has partnered with Northeast Ohio Voter Advocates (NOVA) to train eleven staff in voter registration and organize various events this fall to register voters before the October 5th deadline.

LMM will also be registering voters this Saturday at Team Up to Clean Up and at our upcoming civic education forum, Dollars and Sense: Get to Know the County Levies, on September 29th (see below for more details).

Last year's Team Up To Clean Up featured over 100 volunteers, and you can be a part of the fun this Saturday!

LMM hosts this event annually to clean up and beautify our Shelter and surrounding neighborhood. We would love to have you as part of the festivities, even if you stop by for just an hour with family and friends.

It takes place this Saturday, September 19th from 9AM to 1PM, and is a great way to get involved with the community.

If you’d like to attend please RSVP to our Volunteer Coordinator, Lydia Bailey, at [email protected] or 216-649-7723.
