MEDIA RELEASE

SUSPECT ARRESTED IN DOLLAR GENERAL ARMED ROBBERY

CLEVELAND, TN. (August 31, 2026) — On August 23, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m., deputies with the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Dollar General located at 2175 Spring Place Road SE following a report of an armed robbery.

The robbery occurred at closing time. It was reported that the suspect held employees at gunpoint and demanded cash from the store’s registers before fleeing the scene.

Through the course of their investigation, detectives with the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office identified Keionte Richards of Cleveland as the suspect and secured a warrant for his arrest.

On August 27, 2026, members of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Team located and arrested Richards without further incident.

Richards faces the following charges:

• Aggravated Robbery
• Theft Under $1,000
• Firearm Use in Association with Dangerous Felonies
• Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Institution
• Possession of Methamphetamine

Richards is currently being held in the Bradley County Jail without bond.

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office commends the deputies, detectives, and members of the Fugitive Apprehension Team for their efforts in identifying and apprehending Richards.

The Bradley County Sheriff's Office is proud to recognize Deputy Analina Richardson as Trophies Unlimited Employee Spotlight of the Month! 👏

Over the past several months, Deputy Richardson has consistently demonstrated reliability, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude in the Corrections Division. She maintains excellent attendance and approaches each assignment with professionalism, completing her duties diligently and without complaint.

In recent weeks, Deputy Richardson has managed multiple pods and responsibilities during her shifts while continuing to stay on top of her required checks and ensuring the well-being of the inmates in her care. Even during stressful days, she remains calm, professional, and focused.

Deputy Richardson has also gone above and beyond by sacrificing her personal time to work overtime on opposite shifts and staying over to assist the night shift when needed. Her dependability and willingness to step up make her a valuable asset to the Bradley County Sheriff's Office Corrections Division.

Thank you, Deputy Richardson, for your professionalism, hard work, positive attitude, and commitment to your fellow employees and those in your care. Your contributions do not go unnoticed! 💙⭐

🚔 Promotion Announcements 🚔

The Bradley County Sheriff's Office is proud to announce the promotions of Israel Arceri to Lieutenant and Ryan Giovengo to Sergeant, both assigned to the Corrections Division.

Both have demonstrated professionalism, leadership, and a strong commitment to the Sheriff's Office. Their promotions recognize their continued growth, experience, and contributions to the Corrections Division.

⭐ Lieutenant Israel Arceri

Lt. Arceri joined the Bradley County Sheriff's Office in March 2023 and quickly took on greater responsibility. In April 2024, he was promoted to Corporal and then to Sergeant, continuing to grow as a leader within the Corrections Division.

His work and professionalism were recognized when he was named Employee of the Month in June 2026. Now, in August 2026, he has earned another well-deserved promotion to Lieutenant.

Lt. Arceri's progression reflects his strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment to serving the Bradley County Sheriff's Office.

⭐ Sergeant Ryan Giovengo

Sgt. Giovengo joined the Bradley County Sheriff's Office in March 2021 and has gained extensive experience throughout the Corrections Division. He has worked in all areas of the jail and helped train multiple new employees.

His professionalism and service were recognized when he was named Employee of the Month in September 2024. Now, in August 2026, he has been promoted to Sergeant.

Sgt. Giovengo's experience and willingness to support and train his fellow employees have prepared him well for his new leadership role.

Please join us in congratulating Lt. Israel Arceri and Sgt. Ryan Giovengo on their well-earned promotions. We are proud of their accomplishments and look forward to their continued leadership and service to the Bradley County Sheriff's Office.
