Introducing one of our performing groups for our World on Stage International Student Day:

Case Western Reserve University's Spartan Bhangra

Spartan Bhangra is a competitive student dance team celebrating the high-energy folk-dance traditions of Punjab, India. Known as Cleveland’s premier Bhangra team, its members perform at campus and community events, weddings, and competitions across the United States. Bhangra is a vibrant dance style recognized for its powerful rhythms, synchronized movement, joyful energy, and colorful traditional dress. Beyond performing, Spartan Bhangra promotes diversity, inclusion, community service, and cultural appreciation—bringing students together as a team and sharing Punjabi culture with audiences throughout Northeast Ohio.

This colorful community procession brings together cultural organizations, performers, families, community leaders, and representatives of nations from around the world. The Parade of Flags celebrates Cleveland’s extraordinary diversity, international heritage, and the shared spirit of unity that One World Day has represented for eight decades.

Thank you to every participating garden, cultural group, volunteer, performer, organizer, sponsor, and attendee who helped make this milestone celebration possible.
