๐Ÿš”๐Ÿ’™ COMMUNITY. LEADERSHIP. THE FUTURE. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿš”

The Clewiston Police Department Explorer Program continues to grow, and we could not be more proud of the amazing young men and women joining our family. Seeing so many kids step up with interest in law enforcement, leadership, teamwork, and serving their community truly means everything to us.

Today was an awesome day filled with hands-on learning, mentorship, and unforgettable experiences. Our Explorers were taught how to properly conduct both high-risk traffic stops and regular traffic stops while learning the importance of officer safety, communication, professionalism, and teamwork.

Most importantly, they were able to build relationships with officers who genuinely care about guiding and mentoring the next generation.

A special thank you goes out to Robert Williams for taking the time to come out and help with todayโ€™s training. Your support and willingness to pour into our youth is truly appreciated.

Advisor Daniel Santiago, Advisor Josh Woods, and Chief Tico Salgado had an absolutely amazing time working alongside our Explorers and watching them learn, grow, and gain confidence throughout the day.

Programs like this are about more than policing, they are about building trust, creating opportunities, mentoring our youth, and investing in the future of our community. These young individuals are our future leaders, and we are honored to help guide them in the right direction.

Thank you to all the parents and community members who continue supporting the Explorer Program and believing in our mission. The future is bright in Clewiston. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿš“
