Cliffwood Volunteer Fire Company #1    Station 63-2 Cliffwood Volunteer Fire Company Station 63-2 is located in Aberdeen Township NJ. We are always looking for new members who wish to help the community.

We are a 100% volunteer fire department located in Monmouth County, NJ. We are always looking for members and training will be provided. Training is extensive and requires dedication, but the trade off is you are helping to provide a great community a vital service. If you are interested in joining please contact the page administrators or a line officer and we will assist you in the application process. The New Jersey Air National Guard will be conducting a flyover to honor #COVID19 front line workers.

The 177th Fighter Wing and 108th Wing are partnering in the nationwide Air Force Salutes Flyover event, May 12 (weather date - May 13), to honor the men and women working on the front lines during the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic.

The flyover will feature three F-16 Fighting Falcons from the 177th Fighter Wing and a KC-135R Stratotanker from the 108th Wing. The flight begins at 11:20 a.m. and will cover key COVID-19 locations across New Jersey, to include testing sites, state veterans homes, hospitals and mortuary affairs.

Barring delays due to weather, air traffic or maintenance, residents can see the flyover at the following times and locations:

• Sea Girt – 11:30 a.m.
• PNC Arts Center – 11:35 a.m.
• Millstone – 11:40 a.m.
• NJ Convention Center – 11:45 a.m.
• Menlo Park – 11:46 – a.m.
• Kean University – 11:48 a.m.
• University Hospital – 11:48 a.m.
• Expo Center – 11:49 a.m.
• Bern County College/Paramus – 11:51 a.m.
• Vets Haven North – 12:01 p.m.
• New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs – 12:07 p.m.
• Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital – 12:13 p.m
• Vineland Veterans Home – 12:20 p.m.
• U.S. Coast Guard Training Center – 12:27 p.m.
• Atlantic City Convention Center – 12:32 p.m.

The officers and members of Cliffwood Volunteer Fire Company would like to thank the Township of Aberdeen and Panther Press for our custom face masks. We would also like to thank all of those in our community who bought lawn signs to help pay for these. We are very thankful to have such a wonderful community who support us every day.

Thunderbirds and Blue Angels to Salute Essential Employees

Tomorrow, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds
and U.S. Navy Blue Angels will perform a series of fly-overs in the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania areas to thank all healthcare workers, first responders, and other essential employees on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19.

We encourage anyone planning to view the event to do so in a safe and responsible manner by continuing to practice social distancing and adhering to executive orders. Mass gatherings are strongly discouraged.

Attention residents- Due to the lack of available supplies we are kindly asking for donations of the following products. Gloves, masks, hand sanitizer, disinfecting sprays and disinfecting wipes in sealed/non opened packaging. The products donated will go strictly to keeping our members safe and healthy to continue providing services to our community. A High Wind Warning is in effect for our area tomorrow from 6:00 am until 7:00 pm. Very strong south winds of 25-35 mph with gusts of 60-70 mph are forecasted. Residents should be sure to secure any loose items around their properties. Also, please remember to never go near a downed utility wire. Call 911 if you are to see a downed wire and stay away.
