Clifton Forge Public Library Clifton Forge Public Library serves the Towns of Clifton Forge, Iron Gate, and Alleghany County.

Clifton Forge is located in the beautiful Alleghany Highlands of the northern portion of Southwest Virginia. The Clifton Forge Public Library is pleased to serve the needs of this area. The CFPL is supported by a vibrant Friends of the Library group that always welcomes new members! The CFPL is also fortunate to have a Library Board serving as a public trustee in a advisory capacity.

Clifton Forge Public Library is pleased to have "Fairy Houses," on display by local artist Sandra Tamanini.
Sandra has an impressive talent for collecting items from the outdoors such as moss, bark, acorns, lichen, dried mushrooms and pinecones, as well as, collecting things from thrift stores to make unique fairy houses. The attention she gives to detail and time she puts into each one is amazing to see. The more time you spend looking at the fairy houses, you will notice things that you did not see at first glance. She is always looking for items to inspire her next project. The final touch is putting the fairies themselves in the houses.
Although she does not officially advertise, she does get requests to make fairy houses with people individual interest in mind for Christmas presents, birthdays and more.
Fairy Houses will be on display August thru September.
