A sad conclusion to yesterday’s search.

UPDATE: On September 15, 2024 Brandon L. Christie was located deceased in a wooded area near Cold Brook public parking area. Foul play is not suspected in his death.

New York State Police are currently looking for BRANDON LEE CHRISTIE who was reported as missing to the Appleton Police Department in Wisconsin on 09/09/2024, by his family. He has not spoken to family members since 08/31/2024. His vehicle, a 2016 Mercedes Benz, Color Black, Wisconsin registration ATC1095 was located at the Cold Brook Public Use Parking Area on Standish Road in the town of Saranac on 9/11/2024. Anyone with information as to CHRISTIE’s whereabouts or any sighting of him in the northern New York area can contact the New York State Police at 518-563-3761.

New York State Police are seeking the public’s assistance locating a 16-year-old male missing from Schroon Lake, NY, Essex County.

On July 18, 2024, at approximately 7:47 a.m., Troopers responded to Cedar Drive in the town of Schroon for a missing child complaint. State Police are looking for Skyler Jenks, age 16, of Schroon Lake, NY. Jenks is approximately 5’6 and weighs approximately 170 pounds; he recently changed his hair to black. Traveling in an unknown direction in an unknown type of clothing, but should be wearing burgundy purple Air Jordan shoes.

20 years ago today, on June 27, 2004, 17-year-old Craig Frear went missing. Craig is believed to have been last seen in the area of the Cambridge Manor Apartments on that day in Scotia, NY. His disappearance has led to extensive interagency searches, and NYSP continues its concentrated efforts to locate him.

The State Police Troop G Major Crimes Unit and SP Princetown are again asking for the public’s assistance. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to email [email protected] or call 518-457-6811.

Deputies are attempting to locate Matthew Grant, 22, of Henrietta. Matthew was last seen on 11/20/23 at 10 pm. He was observed wearing a green jacket and blue jeans, operating a 2014 Green Jeep Cherokee with Michigan license plates # ESR8141.

Adirondack Mountain Rescue, a certified New York State search and rescue organization and an integral part of the New York State Federation of Search and Rescue Teams, contributed crew boss resources to the ground search operation to locate Charlotte Sena.

Our highly trained and certified members are proficient in diverse skills including land navigation, wilderness first aid, high-angle rescue, lost person behavior, evidence preservation, and backcountry survival. We are immensely grateful for our familiarity with Moreau State Park, a terrain we regularly train in, which undoubtedly enhanced our search capabilities.

Adirondack Mountain Rescue would like to express our deepest gratitude to the numerous search and rescue teams and other agencies who joined forces during this challenging operation. The collaboration, dedication, and expertise demonstrated by all involved were pivotal in ensuring a safe return for Charlotte.

We extend our heartfelt welcome home to Charlotte Sena, and our thoughts are with her and her family during this time. Charlotte Sena was last seen on Loop A in the Moreau Lake State Park in the Town of Moreau, Saratoga County at approximately 6:15 PM on Saturday, September 30. Charlotte was last seen wearing an orange tie-dye Pokémon shirt, dark blue pants, black Crocs and a grey bike helmet.
