Help Us Support Our Local Veterans & Families! 🇺🇸🥫

This Saturday, June 27, from 12:00–2:00 PM, I’m partnering with the Veterans & Community Housing Coalition for a Drive-Thru Food Drive at Ravenswood Pub.

VCHC’s food pantry is running low, and together we can help ensure local veterans and families have access to the food and household essentials they need.

If you’re able, please stop by and donate a few items. Some of the greatest needs include canned goods, cereal and snack items, cleaning supplies, toothpaste, and condiments and seasonings.

Every donation—big or small—makes a difference.

I hope you’ll join me as we come together to support those who have served our country and our neighbors in need. 🇺🇸💙

**Because transparency matters.**

A private email concerning an Ethics Board appointment includes multiple Town Board members, two former Supervisors, a former Town Board member who resigned midterm under questionable circumstances, political insiders, and even a sitting Town Judge. Yet other Town Board members are excluded.

The discussion focuses on political party registration and whether a prospective appointee “might be willing to go independent” to satisfy the Ethics Code’s political balance requirement.

Residents deserve answers:

• Why are political insiders involved in Ethics Board appointments?
• Why are some Town Board members included while others are excluded?
• Why is a sitting judge participating in discussions involving political affiliations and appointments?
• Does a private email chain involving multiple Town Board members raise Open Meetings Law concerns?
• Why does it take a FOIL appeal to make these communications public?

Public officials are expected to avoid not only actual impropriety, but also the appearance of impropriety.

The test is simple: Would a reasonable person reviewing these facts have concerns about the fairness, independence, and transparency of the process?

We believe many residents would answer yes.

🚨🚨 Unethical Behavior Continues

Apparently Judge Rybak was on the email chain where our leaders communicated about someone changing their political party to get on the ethics board.

Why is one of our elected town judges trying to lobby for someone to get onto the ethics board? I think that is unethical behavior. However, it explains why he’s been sitting in the front row at town board meetings, and was there for ALL of the ethics board votes.

We now learned that all of our elected officials were using their personal emails. How do we know this? Our town clerk said it.

What’s wrong with this? Someone could hack into their emails and see whatever town matters they discuss.

I have serious concerns right now.

Leave your thoughts below…

Join us on July 28th at Van Patten Golf Club for an evening to honor and thank Clifton Park Town Supervisor Phil Barrett for his service and unmatched record of accomplishments. In his 27 years as Town Supervisor, he has set the standard, not only for the area but the state. Ulster County Democrats are proposing a new local income tax surcharge on higher earners. Make no mistake: if Democrats gain control in Saratoga County, similar tax-and-spend policies won’t be far behind.

🚨 SHENENDEHOWA TAXPAYERS — READ THIS BEFORE YOU VOTE TOMORROW 🚨

A $234.5 million budget is on the ballot. Spending is up 5%. Enrollment is DOWN.

Before you vote, you deserve the full picture. 👇

💰 WHAT YOU’RE ACTUALLY PAYING

If your home is assessed at $300,000, you’re paying roughly $9,375 a year in school taxes.

This year’s budget: $234.5 million — up 5% from last year’s $223 million, which was already up 4.43% from the year before.

The district will tell you your individual rate only goes up 0.89% because new development absorbs the rest. And that’s true — smart growth and strong local leadership in Clifton Park and Halfmoon have protected your wallet.

But here’s the question nobody at the school board is asking:

If the tax base keeps growing and state aid keeps coming in — why does spending still go up 5% every single year?

📉 FEWER KIDS. MORE MONEY. EVERY YEAR.

Elementary enrollment is dropping 4.6% this year alone — 81 fewer kids.

Overall enrollment is down.

Yet the budget goes up. Staffing stays flat.

And the district is in the middle of an $85 million capital project — including a brand new kindergarten school — while kindergarten enrollment is SHRINKING.

In the private sector, when demand drops, you right-size.

In New York school districts? Nothing changes. Ever.

MORE TO COME!!!!!

📢 RALLY CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS THIS SATURDAY!!!! 🇺🇸

ALL HANDS ON DECK this Saturday at 10:00 AM at the old Kmart parking lot in Shoppers World Plaza in Clifton Park.

Folks, it’s crunch time. We are in the final push to gather the signatures needed to get the Vote Affordable line on the ballot — and we need everyone’s help.

We’re asking all committee members, supporters, friends, and neighbors to join us. Remember: any registered New York voter age 18 or older can help collect signatures, regardless of party affiliation.

Our local candidates will be there at 10 AM to get everyone organized. From there, volunteers can head out into neighborhoods, youth sports games, community events, or wherever you think signatures can be gathered.

The weather looks great, the opportunity is real, and the future direction of Clifton Park may very well depend on whether we get this line on the ballot.

If you are concerned about the future of Clifton Park, now is the time to come forward. An hour or two of your time this weekend could truly make the difference.

Every signature matters. Every volunteer matters.

If you can’t make the 10 AM kickoff, please send a private message and other arrangements can be made.

Please bring anyone you can and let’s finish strong. See you Saturday! 💪

Great to see Clifton Park Republicans gathering in support of the Saratoga County Republican Committee’s Spring Fundraiser.

A strong crowd, great conversations, and a shared commitment to the future of our towns, county, and communities. Thank you to everyone who continues to volunteer, support local candidates, and stay engaged in the issues that matter most here at home. 🇺🇸
