Thank you to the Clifton Park Senior Community Center and Supervisor Phil Barrett for opening your doors and welcoming me to speak about the scams that target seniors right here in Saratoga County.

It was a great discussion focused on raising awareness, recognizing warning signs, and sharing practical ways to protect yourself and your loved ones from becoming victims of fraud. The best way to fight these crimes is to prevent them before they happen.

I truly enjoy traveling throughout Saratoga County to offer these presentations and connect directly with our residents. Thank you to everyone who attended, asked thoughtful questions, and helped make this an informative and engaging event.

Our CSPSCC family was saddened to hear of Lou's passing last week. He had connections here beyond ensuring the safety and security of our building and members and will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with his family.

It is with deep sadness that we must inform you that Lou Pasquarell, Director of Town Safety and Security passed away unexpectedly on April 1, 2026.

Lou was a dedicated servant to his community, working for the Town of Clifton Park since 2002 and as Director of Safety and Security since 2013. A United States Air Force Veteran, Lou spent many years serving the residents of Clifton Park as a volunteer firefighter and past Chief of the Jonesville Volunteer Fire Department for 26 years.

We are thankful for his decades of service to Clifton Park as a first responder and a county-wide public safety leader. He brought his experience and talents to Town government and served the people of Clifton Park for many years. Lou has been a valuable member of our team and he will be missed.

We extend our condolences to Lou’s family and friends. May he rest in peace.
