Turning Leadership Into Results. 📈

One of the most valuable parts of my professional journey has been learning that leadership is not just about setting goals—it’s about understanding how to move people and performance forward.

At The Turning Point, I participated in training focused on the science of improving performance, pressing key metrics forward, and gaining the support of others to turn ideas into action.

That experience reinforced an important lesson for me: you can have a great plan, but meaningful progress happens when you know how to communicate the vision, engage people in the process, and get everyone moving in the same direction.

That lesson has stayed with me throughout my career: measure the work, understand the people, build the support, and keep moving forward.

Speaking up matters. 🏡

During my time as a REALTOR, I believed that serving people sometimes meant doing more than helping them buy or sell a home. It means paying attention to the policies that affect their ability to own, afford, and keep that home—and being willing to speak up when those policies create challenges for the people you serve.

I participated in a legislative rally to advocate for homeowners and make our voices heard where decisions were being made. I believed the concerns of the people I represented deserved to be heard, and I was willing to show up and use my voice to help bring attention to the issue.

That experience reinforced something I’ve carried with me ever since: leadership requires more than identifying a problem. Sometimes you have to show up, speak up, and be willing to do the work necessary to move an issue forward.

That is the kind of advocate I strive to be—someone who listens, understands the concerns of others, and is willing to step forward when action is needed.

Fresh perspective. Proven experience. And a willingness to speak up.

Leadership, Engagement & Service 💙

Before I ever considered running for public office, I spent years learning how to lead people, build relationships, and bring people together around a common purpose.

During my time at AT&T, I had the privilege of serving as Southeast Chapter President of Women of AT&T, where I worked alongside other leaders to strengthen employee engagement and community involvement.

This photo takes me back to a retreat and leadership training with fellow chapter presidents, where we were equipped with strategies for engaging people, building stronger connections, and turning participation into meaningful impact.

One of the things that experience taught me is that people engage when they feel heard, valued, and connected to something bigger than themselves. That lesson has stayed with me throughout my career and my community service.

Leadership isn’t simply about having a title. It’s about bringing people together, listening, creating opportunities to participate, and helping turn collective effort into meaningful results.

That experience is part of the proven experience I bring to Clifton.

Rolling Up My Sleeves for the Community ❤️

One of the things I’ve always valued is serving through action. I had the opportunity to participate in a Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build, working alongside other women to help build something meaningful for a family in need.

For me, service has never been about simply showing up—it’s about being willing to roll up my sleeves, get to work, and be part of the solution. That same spirit is what I bring to everything I do, and it’s the spirit I want to continue bringing to the community I call home. 🇺🇸

Serving Clifton Didn’t Start With a Campaign. 🇺🇸

Since coming to Clifton, I’ve had the opportunity to become more involved in the community—not because I was planning to run for office, but because I genuinely wanted to be a part of the town I call home. It’s what I’ve always done: serve, contribute, and get involved wherever I live.

I’m proud to be involved with:

🏘️ Main Street Development Committee
🥾 Trail Town Development Committee
🎨 Clifton Artist Guild Organization
🤝 Clifton Chamber of Commerce

Honestly, I didn’t realize how much I had already become involved until I wrote it all down! 😂 But that’s what makes this feel less like a beginning and more like a continuation.

My decision to run isn’t a new direction—it’s the way I’ve always chosen to show up and serve. 🙏🏽

Now, I’m simply asking for the opportunity to serve in an even greater capacity. ❤️
