A GREAT WAY TO KICK OFF THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR!

The Clifton Public Schools community came together for the HSA Welcome Back BBQ, hosted by Superintendent Dr. Danny Robertozzi and the Clifton Board of Education.

It was a great evening to catch up after the summer, enjoy some food and fun, and celebrate as a community—all while welcoming another year as One Clifton!

A special thank you to Pomptonian for providing the food, to all who helped make the evening possible, and to everyone who joined us!

Here’s to a great 2026–2027 school year!

Clifton Public Schools was excited to welcome our newest staff members to One Clifton during New Staff Orientation!

Their first day kicked off with Assistant Superintendent Mr. Gengaro’s “Clifton Struck” presentation, where new staff learned about the key elements of what it means to have the Clifton Rockstar mentality and make a positive difference each day.

This was no ordinary presentation! Designed as a rock concert-style experience, Clifton Struck featured lights, music, drumsticks for every staff member, and live performances by the Clifton "After School Sessions" band, made up of talented Clifton staff members.

Following Clifton Struck, new staff heard from Superintendent Dr. Robertozzi, members of the district’s central administration team, and Clifton Board of Education President Judy Bassford as they learned more about our schools, our district, and the people who make Clifton such a special place to learn, work, and grow.

As this one-of-a-kind introduction to One Clifton came to a close, our newest staff members were encouraged to carry that Rockstar mentality with them throughout the year—to find their beat, make their mark, and let their inner rock star SHINE!

We’re thrilled to announce that Clifton Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Danny Robertozzi has received the 2026NJ Visionary Superintendent Award!

Presented at the Annual Seaside Celebration for Ed Leaders, hosted by ClassLink and the New Jersey Association of School Administrators (NJASA), the NJ Visionary Awards honor individuals making a meaningful difference in schools and communities across New Jersey.

“It is an honor to receive the NJ Visionary Superintendent Award, a recognition that reflects the incredible work and collective commitment of our entire One Clifton community. This recognition belongs to our Board of Education, administrators, staff, students, families, and community members, whose dedication and collaboration make One Clifton what it is. I am proud of all that we continue to accomplish together and excited about what lies ahead for Clifton Public Schools,” said Dr. Robertozzi, Superintendent of Schools.

Dear Clifton High School Families,

I'm writing to inform you of an important change taking effect this school year regarding student cell phone use. In January 2026, Governor Murphy signed New Jersey's "bell to bell" cell phone law, requiring every public school district in the state to adopt a policy restricting student use of internet-enabled devices during the school day.

Please see the attached letter and guidelines for more information.
