Great morning spent with the third grade students at Chebanse Elementary & Ashkum Early Literacy Center for Camp 911.

Our firefighters completed their annual SCBA certification, working with the equipment that provides clean air in smoke-filled and hazardous environments.

They practiced gearing up in under one minute, rescuing a fellow firefighter, sharing air through buddy breathing, and reviewing rapid intervention team scenarios designed for worst-case situations.

When seconds matter, training like this makes all the difference.
