We are excited to welcome back The Children’s Science Lab and Mathnasium as part of our annual Math and Science Night at Union Mill! This fun evening is made possible with the help of volunteers, and we’re looking for adults (ages 16 and up—great opportunity for service hours!) to help run engaging math and science stations.
No prep is required—all materials will be provided! We simply ask that volunteers commit to the full evening, including setup and cleanup, from 5:15–7:45 PM.

You may notice signs throughout the community for the Centreville High School Homecoming Parade. Please see the attached route. The parade will be held on Friday, September 26 5:00-5:30 pm. If you have any questions, contact please Centreville HS directly at (703) 802-5400.

*The HOA is NOT involved in the parade planning and therefore will not be able to provide answers.

🥏 Big shoutout to Mr. Cook, our very own former collegiate Ultimate Frisbee player and 6th grade teacher! He’s bringing his passion for the game to UMES, teaching our 6th graders not only the rules of a new sport, but also the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and having fun while staying active. 💪👏

🫀💪 Our 6th graders are learning life-saving skills in PE! Today, they practiced CPR and discussed the importance of being prepared to help in an emergency. So proud of these students for taking on such an important responsibility! 👏

Digital Wellness Conversation

Is your family navigating the digital world? You’re not alone! Join us for an open and supportive conversation about raising digitally healthy kids in a screen-filled world. Families will engage in a conversation around screen time, social media and explore some effective strategies to monitor and balance online and outdoor activities.

This conversation will take place in the cafeteria from 6:05 – 6:30 pm during Back to School Night.
