On October 9, we hosted a Direct Service Training on Elder Abuse as part of the Macomb County Elder Justice Alliance.

The session provided professionals with practical tools and real-world scenarios to better support those affected by elder abuse. A total of 24 attendees participated in the training to build their knowledge and strengthen their skills. We appreciate everyone who attended and helped make this training a success!

In observance of Columbus Day, the Macomb County Health Department, Macomb Community Action, Office of Senior Services, MSU-Extension and Health & Community Services will be closed Monday, October 12. Normal operations will resume Tuesday, October 13.

Vibe Credit Union and the City of Sterling Heights Parks & Recreation are teaming up to collect nonperishable food donations for the Community Food Bank of Macomb County!​

Every donation can help stock local pantries and support families across Macomb County​

📍Between October 3 – 17, you can drop off non-perishable food donations at the following locations in Sterling Heights: ​
