Congratulations to Pete Hoekstra as new chair of MIGOP. It is time for new leadership and coming together to win. Karamos and her team have failed to do what was needed to move ahead. There is no time for name calling or fighting amongst ourselves. Let's rally behind Hoekstra.

It's time to move forward and ignore the MIGOP circus and chaos. If you are truly interested in fighting for solid candidates, go back them. Put your money where your mouth is. A good friend of mine said, that some of us are stuck in Michigan and we have to live the consequences of the elections. So true. As one of the ones who are "stuck" and can't move due to finances, I am willing to back up quality candidates to the best of my ability. Are you willing to do the same? If we are going to win back the state government we have build up grassroots like never before. It won't be easy but it will be worth it. Hang on folks it's going to be a bumpy ride but we can get through it ... TOGETHER!

After several confusing emails from the two "Chairs" of Michigan Republican Party One has to wonder whose circus is this and who owns the monkeys? This is sheer madness. Dear delegates, we have so much work to do to succeed in 2024, don't we deserve better?

This is a Press Release from Tudor Dixon. Spot on! Please read and share! If we are going to have a strong party... we have to do what is right.

Tudor Dixon: MIGOP proposed power consolidation plan wrong for Michigan

Tudor Dixon, 2022 Republican nominee for governor, releases the following statement on the MIGOP's proposed power consolidation plan:

“In August 2022, over 1 million Republicans cast ballots for their preferred candidates in state and local races. Instead of trusting voters, the Michigan Republican Party is now attempting to consolidate power into the hands of 2,000 people. The MIGOP leadership has become what it claims it despises.

“The proposal today is another example of a misguided party that is attempting to force unnecessary procedural change, rather than bringing attention to Joe Biden’s catastrophic failures and the long-term damage Gretchen Whitmer has done to our state.

“The Michigan Republican Party has a very distinct responsibility, which is supporting candidates nominated by Republican voters, ensuring election laws are followed, and educating voters about the Republican platform. None of what is transpiring now is going to accomplish any of those objectives.

“Once that happens, we will elect bold leaders who cast a clear vision that includes eliminating the income tax, attracting strong American job creators, empowering parents with educational freedom, and returning power back to the people.”

2024 is fast approaching. It's an election year that will be challenging to say the least. I'm writing this now with the hope that we can come together as Republicans to not only persevere as a party but also as a nation. It's way past time we start doing what is needed to win elections and have a message that resonates not only within our party but to the voters that are sitting on the fence wondering whether their vote will count. Let's break down the process of how to win in 2024 as clearly as possible.

1. Stop the "friendly" fire amongst ourselves. No one is a better Republican. WE are all equal and all fighting for the same reasons. We want our country back! We want our state back! Our common goal should be to look over our minor differences and win back every seat from the local to national levels. In other words we need to rally the troops.

2. The MIGOP needs to step up and begin doing their job of fundraising, getting the message out and supporting the candidates who are running for office. That means plenty of opportunities to support a campaign financially, strong messaging that not only invites voters to our side but to also invest in our message by giving time and talent to our cause. Candidates need the back up support of the party to be successful.

3. Ask yourself one question: what has the Democrat party in Michigan given to the voters over the past eight years? Inflation. Roads are not fixed. Businesses closed. Jobs are disappearing. This is a beautiful place to raise a family but Democrats are more interested in electric cars, rights of drag queens and more money for schools but ignoring the true purpose of schools is to educate our children. In a nut shell, our quality of life has gotten worse not better.

We may not have all the answers, but we do know one thing. What I have proposed here may seem very simplistic. However, I argue that it's not that easy but worth the effort to try. Let's face it, what we have now is not working. That's evident by the infighting in MIGOP and other county parties. It's time to work with each other and tear down the divisions between our ranks. The Democrats would like nothing more than to see us divided and fighting amongst ourselves. This ensures victory for them. Let's not hand over 2024 to them. If we do, it's not only our candidate and party that loses. It will be every citizen of Michigan that will lose.
