The SEED Program was back out in the field last week with two stops that show just how broad the world of agriculture really is!

Students explored agritourism at Hubb's Farm NC, seeing how farms create experiences that connect with the community with agritourism, then visited the Steve Troxler Agricultural Sciences Center to experience how education is preparing the next generation of the industry.

These experiences are critical to building awareness of agricultural careers and strengthening the future workforce pipeline, and we are truly grateful for the local partners who make them possible!

Thursday was a powerful reminder of what persistence can achieve. Our Career and College Readiness graduates have overcome real obstacles to reach this moment, and we are proud to celebrate their success! We cannot wait to see where these Vikings go next!

The SEED Program continued its summer experiences with a visit to the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Horticulture Crops Research Station in Clinton.

Students had the opportunity to tour the facility and learn more about the research, innovation, and work happening right here in our region to support agriculture!
