Excited to give back as your Alderman!

This Monday, July 21st, I’m proud to host the Inaugural Back-to-School Haircut Event for male students enrolled in the Clinton Public School District. Two of our local barbershops — Michelle’s Barbershop and Kustom Kutz — have graciously agreed to open their doors and dedicate their day off to serve our young men with free haircuts to help them start the school year looking and feeling their best.

Kustom Kutz: 9 AM – 1 PM, 957 US-80
Michelle’s Barbershop: 12 PM – 4 PM, 704 E Northside Dr

What do you need to secure your spot? Just show proof of registration in the Clinton Public School District for the 2025–2026 school year.

I’m grateful to both shops for stepping up to support our community in this way. Early arrival is encouraged, as haircuts will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Thank you for letting me serve you , I hope to see you Monday!

Over the past four years, we’ve accomplished so much together for Ward 6 and the City of Clinton, from improving public safety and balancing a $24 million city budget to investing in infrastructure and supporting economic growth.

As we head into the Democratic Primary this Tuesday, April 1st, I want to thank you for your continued support and trust. I’m proud of what we’ve built together and excited about the progress still ahead.

Let’s keep pushing for stronger neighborhoods, more imaginative growth, and a safer Clinton.

Make your voice heard, and get out and vote on April 1st!
Wishing all candidates the best of luck this election season.

You Belong Here!

Big things are happening in Clinton! Traceway Park is undergoing the largest sports lighting upgrade in Mississippi history. 24 fields are being retrofitted with state-of-the-art LED lights for better visibility, safer games, and long-term energy savings!

This bond-funded project also includes extending light poles along Pinehaven Drive to Arrow Drive and purchasing existing poles from Entergy, saving the City an estimated $400K/year.

Here’s what’s coming:
✅ Safer, long-lasting steel poles replacing wooden ones
✅ Reduced energy & maintenance costs
✅ Brighter, focused lighting with less glare
✅ Enhanced safety for park visitors and drivers

Clinton is setting the standard for recreation and infrastructure. Stay tuned for updates!

The Northside Drive bridge is back open!

The Northside Drive bridge is officially open and accessible to the public! 🎉

While the final paving work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the month, the bridge is safe and fully passable for vehicles. Thank you for your patience during the construction process—we’re excited to provide this improved connection for the community. Stay tuned for updates as we finish the remaining work.
