Last night, COCVAC members joined Midstate EMS at their EMS Week Awards Banquet!

Members were pleased to accept the “Golden Hour Award” presented by MVHS for the agency with the quickest scene time on trauma calls. This award reflects just how efficiently our providers are able to start care and move towards a definitive care site, whether that turn over of care be to a hospital or a helicopter!

Congratulations to all of the award winners recognized last night, and happy EMS Week!

From your COCVAC family—congratulations, Mackenzie Siddon

Mac,
Watching you grow from EMT to nurse has been something special. Your compassion, dedication, and steady presence have made a real difference in the lives of the patients you’ve cared for and the people you’ve worked alongside. Graduating from Utica University’s accelerated nursing program is an incredible accomplishment, and it reflects the kind of provider—and person—you are.

While it’s not easy to see you move on from this role, we couldn’t be more proud of you as you take this next step.

No matter where your career takes you, you’ll always have a place here. Congratulations—we’re proud of you.
