🌱 Growing Knowledge Beyond the Classroom! 🌱

Our EF STEAM 8th Grade Conservation Biology scholars rolled up their sleeves and got to work cleaning out our school garden! Students are preparing the space for new growth while gaining hands-on experience with conservation, ecosystems, and environmental stewardship. 🌿🥒

💪🏽 Fitness in Action at EF STEAM! 🐯

EF STEAM Scholars in Dean Anderson’s Physical Education class put their strength, endurance, and determination to the test while completing their fitness assessment!

Physical education is about more than exercise—it teaches our scholars the importance of perseverance, goal-setting, teamwork, and developing healthy habits. We love seeing our scholars challenge themselves and give their best effort! 💙

🧪 STEM in Action in Intro to STEM!

Our Intro to STEM scholars learned how scientists sometimes need to move and manipulate objects in a lab without directly touching them. Their challenge was to stack cups into different formations using only strings attached to a rubber band—no hands on the cups!

This hands-on challenge put teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and perseverance to the test as students worked together to engineer a solution. 💡🧵🥤
