Hey East Feliciana Parish! It was great seeing you all at East Feliciana Middle’s Open House yesterday.

We just wanted to share something that stuck out to us on yesterday and give a shoutout EFMS administrators for being creative in engaging the youth of the parish.

If you haven’t heard, September is National Attendance Awareness Month and EFMS has a campaign to keep students motivated: Never Been Absent (NBA). Students who meet the requirements will be given tickets at the end of the month, have the opportunity to wear their favorite basketball jersey to school and participate in the school’s draft where they will receive special recognition.

Tell me this isn’t exciting for our youth! So, let’s finish this month out strong. 💪🏾 keep up the great work East Feliciana!
