As we wrap up National Telecommunicators Week, I want to take a moment to reflect on what was truly a great week for Clinton County Communications. Throughout the week, we celebrated the dedication, professionalism, and heart that our telecommunicators bring to the console every single day. From handling critical incidents to providing calm reassurance during someone’s worst moment, this team continues to represent the very best of public safety.

We saw strong engagement across the board—with team activities, friendly competition, and a lot of well-deserved recognition. More importantly, we saw connection. The conversations, the laughter, and the support shared among the team are exactly what strengthens our culture and makes this such a great place to serve.

A very special thank you goes out to the Low Moor Fire Department. Chief Hoenig and his staff went above and beyond in providing our team with an unexpected and incredibly thoughtful surprise Saturday, filled with delicious treats and creative artwork. Your kindness and generosity far exceeded expectations. Seeing the smiles across the room said it all.

It’s moments like these that remind us how fortunate we are to serve alongside such outstanding partners. What a wonderful county we serve.

Thank you again to everyone who made this week memorable—and most importantly, thank you to our telecommunicators for everything you do.

These notices may look official and include:

Court case numbers

👉 Red flags:

Requests for immediate payment
QR codes directing you to unknown payment sites
Threatening language demanding urgent action
Mismatched states/counties (example: Iowa vs. Missouri)

❗ What to do:

DO NOT scan the QR code
DO NOT send money or provide personal information
Verify any court notice by contacting your local court directly using official contact info

Day 5 has been a Great day. We were once again spoiled, as Janet Turpen, Michael Enriquez, and Xzander provided a medley of baked goods and our wonderful Sheriff's Office, spearheaded by Chief Deputy Steve Diesch fed the troops with some amazing pork loin. We were also blessed as we had full restoration of our system. We are getting back to normal, and wanted to share how Grateful we are to have the support of so many from our community. We truly feel the Love and appreciation! Thank you for making a trying week absolutely amazing!
